Put That In the Spelling Bee
Mmmm...mmmm...mmmonday. You always come around and ruin a perfectly good weekend. This weekend my most favorite youngest daughter coined the Word of the Day and we used it for just about everything. It was a completely "Craptastic" weekend! LOL It works well in a Batman kind of way "Holy Craptastic! Did you see that?" or "Your car smells completely Craptastic" (which could be good or bad depending on how many kids in diapers you have shoved in the back seat). Or "Well, that's Craptastic, my Visa card is maxed out." How about "Super-Craptastically-Fantabulous! I won tickets to see Luke Bryan!!!" (I wish.) It's just an all-purpose word that totally suited our weekend (you thought I forgot what I was gonna talk about, hmmm?). See, my momma, daughter and I had a totally Craptastic weekend. We yard-saled this weekend. But it turned into a garage sale because "Well isn't this Craptastic. It's Raining." Yes, it rained all day Saturday. But we had a really good turn out anyway and sold a bunch of stuff. "Hey Daughter. Check it out. Somebody is interested in the antique bench on Facebook. Isn't that Craptastic?" SOLD! So we had a bunch of pick-up from internet sales and some random sales on Sunday, too, since it finally stopped raining. But oh-mother-of-all-things-holy, the humidity was Craptastically high on Sunday! Our hair was frizzed, our clothes were yucky, the bugs were horrid. And then our attitudes became like totally Craptastically cheery again when we counted our loot. Woo Hoo! We worked Craptastically hard. The grands were Craptastically tired and dirty. But we sure did clean out some closets and garages and meet some Craptastically nice people. It was worth it.
Y'all have a Craptastic kind of week and share a smile. :)
